The Swiss franc surged up further against major rivals in early Asian trading on Friday. At 7:10 pm ET, the franc jumped to a 2-day high of 0.7620 against the US dollar, a new multi-year high of 104.10 versus the Japanese yen, new record highs of 1.2370 against the British pound and 1.0715 versus the euro from yesterday's close of 0.7640, 103.31, 1.2420 and 1.0765, respectively.

Currently, the franc is worth 1.2406 against the sterling, 1.0745 versus the euro, 103.83 against the yen and 0.7638 versus the greenback.
