The brokerage firm has teamed up with Advantage Title and Movement Mortgage to help the shelter.

TOWSON, Md., Dec. 9, 2013 - The Baltimore office of ZipRealty, Inc. (http://www.ziprealty.com) (NASDAQ: ZIPR), the nation's most prominent online technology-powered residential real estate brokerage firm and real estate marketing solutions provider, is helping the House of Ruth Maryland fulfil its Winter Wish List this holiday season. On Dec. 12, ZipRealty is accepting donations of gently-used clothing and other essential items in the parking lot of the Shops at Kenilworth in Towson between 8 am and 1 pm. Advantage Title and Movement Mortgage have also teamed up with ZipRealty to provide residents of the domestic violence shelter with donations as well.

The House of Ruth Maryland is one of the nation's most comprehensive domestic violence centers, with a staff of more than 90, as well as a 30-member board of directors and advisory committee. Founded in 1977, the facility now includes a holistic health and wellness program, including an on-site health clinic staffed by the Johns Hopkins University School of Nursing.

"We decided to collect as many items on this list as possible in an effort to give back to our community members impacted by domestic violence," says Janet Freund, District Coordinator in the Baltimore office of ZipRealty. "So many people's lives have been impacted by domestic violence, and we want to help them out, especially during the holidays."
