MTV Unveils the New 'Discover and Download'

Artic Monkeys, Rick Ross, Da Backwudz, Flyleaf and Cheyenne get the
multi- platform treatment across MTV, MTV2, mtvU, MTV.com and MTV
Overdrive NEW YORK, April 17 /PRNewswire/ -- MTV today unveiled the
evolution of "Discover and Download", a new multi-platform emerging
artist designation that lives and breathes new music across every
MTV screen. The new line up of "Discover and Download" will feature
breaking artists Artic Monkeys, Da Backwudz, Flyleaf, Cheyenne and
Rick Ross. It all kicks off on Monday, April 17th with the launch
of a "Discover and Download" show on MTV Overdrive. By taking
advantage of all MTV platforms which include MTV, MTV2, mtvU,
MTV.com, mtvU Uber and MTV Overdrive, "Discover and Download" will
become a new music resource for every music fan to enjoy and get to
know these new faces on a deeper and broader scale. "Discover and
Download" will offer fans of these artists free promotional
downloads, exclusive live performances, interviews, videos, photos,
full live performances on wireless and more. Some of the other
highlights of "Discover and Download" include: On Monday, April
17th, Ampd' Mobile will begin featuring full "Discover and Download
Live" performances from the Arctic Monkeys teasing to the TV and
on-line premiere of a special Arctic Monkeys "Discover and Download
Live" on Friday, April 21st at 11pm ET on MTV2. The show will
feature tracks from their breakthrough first album, as well as an
