                    ADVANCED TECHNOLOGY (UK) PLC ("COMPANY")

Following the Company's EGM on 19 December 2002 all shareholders on the register
of members as at 17 December 2002 were awarded one bonus warrant for every three
shares held. These warrants entitle the holder to subscribe for new ordinary
shares in the Company at 10p per share and are due to expire on 31 December
2003.

The Company has today posted a reminder to holders of warrants of the time limit
for the exercise of such warrants.
