XESG iShares ESG Aware MSCI Canada Index ETF

TORONTO, March 21, 2019 /CNW/ - Pat Chiefalo, Managing Director and Head of iShares Canada, BlackRock Asset Management Canada Limited, joined Graham MacKenzie, Head, ETFs and Structured Products, Toronto Stock Exchange and TSX Venture Exchange, to open the market to celebrate the launch of their iShares Sustainable Core ETFs, a suite of six Exchange Traded Funds (ETFs): iShares ESG MSCI Canada Index ETF (XESG); iShares ESG MSCI USA Index ETF (XSUS); iShares ESG MSCI EAFE Index ETF (XSEA); iShares ESG MSCI Emerging Markets Index ETF (XSEM); iShares ESG Canadian Aggregate Bond Index ETF (XSAB); and iShares ESG Canadian Short Term Bond Index ETF (XSTB). They are the first set of new products introduced under the RBC iShares alliance, a strategic alliance between BlackRock Canada and RBC Global Asset Management Inc. (RBC GAM Inc.). The six iShares ETFs are managed by BlackRock Asset Management Canada Limited. XESG; XSUS; XSEA; XSEM; XSAB; and XSTB commenced trading on Toronto Stock Exchange on March 21, 2019.
