Deutsche Boerse AG said Friday that Heike Eckert will join the executive board as of July 1, 2020, replacing Hauke Stars.

Ms. Eckert will also be responsible for the board's newly formed human resources and compliance division, succeeding Ms. Stars as director of labor relations. Ms. Eckert has been with the German share-market organizer since 1995.

Outgoing Ms. Stars was also responsible for the cash market, which will be integrated into the trading-and-clearing division from July 2020.
