HOUSTON, July 24, 2012 /PRNewswire/ -- AvStar Aviation
Group, Inc. (AvStar) (OTC Pink: AAVG) today announced that its
wholly owned subsidiary, Twin Air Calypso Limited, Inc. ("TACL"),
has entered into an agreement with Torrey Pines Marketing, Inc.
("Torrey Pines") to offer TACL's popular "Twin Pack" bulk ticket
purchases to lists of customers derived from using Torrey Pines'
telemarketing techniques.
The "Twin Pack" program has been used by TACL's Bahamas customers for many years, affording
frequent travelers discounted travel by purchasing books of ten
round-trip flights. Twin Packs will now be offered to all customers
in books of five and ten round-trip flights. Customers using TACL's
upcoming Naples Connection operation, due to begin in October 2012, will have the "Twin Pack" purchases
offered in two programs. One program will be for specific
destinations from Naples, while
the second will include all of Naples Connection's domestic
destinations. Both programs can be upgraded to include all of
TACL's Bahamas destinations.
Torrey Pines Marketing is a North
Carolina based company with twelve years experience in
telemarketing services. Clients have included such companies as
Dish Network, Directv, NASCAR, Miracle Insurance Group, Go Small
Biz.com and FHA Mortgage.
"With this program we have entered a new era of marketing for
Twin Air Calypso. Our venture with Torrey Pines is yet another step
in our continuing efforts to increase revenue through the
utilization of technology," said Clayton
Gamber, CEO of AvStar Aviation Group, Inc.
As part of TACL's "Community Airline" concept, the operations
from Ft. Lauderdale to the Bahamas
will be branded as "Bahamas Connection". The "Community
Airline" concept is designed to connect local residents to their
popular destinations without the inconvenience and delay of large
commercial airports.
"The long-standing Bahamas
operations of Twin Air Calypso have proven the need for a
'Community Airline'. I am pleased to have our future Bahamas operations known as the 'Bahamas
Connection'. As our 'community airlines' grow, our 'branding'
will allow us to be easily recognized," said Clayton Gamber, CEO of AvStar Aviation Group,
Inc.
AvStar is also pleased to release TACL's operating revenue for
the first six months of 2012. The unaudited results for the first
half of 2012 show the air carrier operations are marginally
profitable at a conservative level of operations. With the
infrastructure investments made over the last year all future
increases in operations should have a very positive effect on
profitability. These results are based on 3200 flight hours and may
be viewed here.
