XcelPlus International Inc (Pink Sheets: XLPI), XcelPlus
International (http://XcelPlus.com) announced today that it has
sold the exclusive licensing rights for the distribution of the
Eliminator 200 product in Canada. The licensing agreement is
initially for a 5 year period and comes with a minimum purchase
performance quota. The licensing agreement was signed with Prism
Equity Holdings a Nevada Corporation with offices in Canada. When
it comes to bird flu, Canada's poultry industry knows exactly what
is at stake. An uncontrolled outbreak could cripple the
$7-billion-a-year business from hatcheries, to farms, to
processors, to supermarkets and restaurants. A Bird Flu outbreak in
British Columbia's Fraser Valley in 2004 led to the slaughter of 17
million birds and cost it an estimated $340 million. A recent case
in B.C. was found to have infected about 67,000 ducks. It is their
intent to begin the distribution process of the product for Canada
as a preventative measure to be used against the spread of the
virus. Their immediate focus is to enter into a sub-licensing
agreement with a major distributor that has 173 agents across
Canada and in New York and New Jersey. They are committed to
developing the Canadian markets with options to introduce the
products to India, Europe, Central and South America on an
exclusive basis. To further demonstrate that Eliminator 200 will
establish the "new standard" for bio-hazard containment on surfaces
of pens and other solid areas to eliminate the virus, it is being
additionally tested in Australia. The lab in Australia utilizes
state of the art technology in testing of bio-hazard containment
and should yield results fairly quickly. The reason for further
testing specifically in a state of the art facility in Australia is
because this facility utilizes the British Standard that is the
accepted test protocol for the ECU and is also accepted around the
world. There is only one facility in the US equipped to do such
testing which are back logged for months and do not have access to
the H5N1 material for testing. Bill Smith, President of XcelPlus,
states "this agreement and the further clinical testing of the
Eliminator 200 product validation has enhanced the awareness and
validity of this product. We look forward to the development of
other business relationships and will inform our shareholders as
these are established in the immediate future." Eliminator 200
formulation works on a bacterial, fungi or viral pathogen.
Eliminator 200 works by oxidatively cleaving the amino and sulfur
linkages in the protein chains that comprise the bacteria, viruses,
fungi, etc., killing the organism with a powerful but selective
oxidizing agent. Eliminator 200, which was tested in New Zealand,
is listed as a sanitizer in the UK and New Zealand. Eliminator 200
has been approved by Agri-Quality NZ Ltd. up to food contact as a
sanitizer.
