                    LEHMAN BROTHERS TO BE KEY CLIENT FOR
                             REUTERS KNOWLEDGE



New York, July 22, 2003-Reuters (Nasdaq: RTRSY, LSE: RTR), the global
information company, today announced that Lehman Brothers, the global investment
bank, intends to roll out Reuters Knowledge, a new information and analytics
service for research and investment banking professionals, to all of their
senior investment bankers globally.


Reuters Knowledge is an integrated workflow solution that significantly reduces
time spent on repetitive, low value tasks, while increasing time available for
revenue generation. It reduces the total cost of ownership by aggregating
content and applications from many sources into one platform.


George Tierney, Lehman Brothers Senior Vice President, Investment Banking said:
