The show is on April 13that the Excel centre. At some other events the speakers are not even household names in their own households. Nigel Wray (Britain’s Buffett) is joined by property legend and secret millionaire Nick Leslau. The UK’s two best known short sellers Evil Knievil and Lucian Miers are speaking. On the mining tack gold guru Dominic Frisby is on the main stage while hosting a breakout session on how to make money from mining juniors is Amanda Van Dyke, the chair of woman in mining and a partner at Dundee Securities.
Also running breakout sessions are Mike Hall, CEO of Stanley Gibbons on alternative investing, Roger Lawson of the Share Society on tackling overpaid managers and Christopher Booker on how global warming scares will cost you dear.
The trader’s session in the main hall is led by ADVFN boss Clem Chambers and he is joined by Zak Mir, Alpesh Patel, John Piper and Simon Denham of Capital Spreads. The session will be chaired by Steve Moore, former senior writer at t1ps.com. And of course I shall do my traditional 10 minute comedy debate with Richard Poulden.
