Thx DD. I was in a ‘load and hold’ mode but now I’m just holding. I’ve got the time to wait but I know that there’s a race to the technology. I, like you hope Rich and co are able to get to the prototype stage this year sometime. News of that will make the pps soar.

While I understand your point obviously - and respect it - you and I both know that the sheer transition of this company from research stage to prototype (developmental stage) will translate into a significantly higher pps than current.
I think they are very close to prototype and 2024 will be working prototype.
I think you are also right that Rich will likely see the $$ once he reaches that stage and goes for a solid deal where the company/technology was purchased outright or even a JV arranged using the FIU research and IP to solve the issues related to Satenna.

IMO- the stock has proven that it can withstand it all. They have zero interest in diluting it. They are trying to build shareholder value to do exactly what you suggest. Solve it first or get it to a point where it can be bought by someone who can solve it first :).

We both share cautious optimism. I will continue to hold my shares here. They are ALL in the profit after putting my money where my mouth was - and doubling my position last November and December- (grabbing .0006/.0007’s) - I sold those already to free ride the rest of my stack 6 months later. So I feel rewarded already for believing in Rich and the TEAM AT FIU!

It’s an easy hold for me - and one that I will never get blinded by the light. The last story stock that I held / that had this similar share structure- skyrocketed to .02 + pps on its own merit. So it’s defintely worth the wait to watch this develop IMO.

If they were diluting heavy like so many stocks in the OTC- it would definitely would Be hard to hold but that’s just not the case. It’s actually one of the pluses here imo.

LAST THOUGHT- I am glad we discussed this since I didn’t see it fall to .0012 and someone grabbed a decent chunk. That was a great example of how loose the box is here. There isn’t much overhand and all it needs is steady information flow and a strong BID develops. I actually would add more here at .001-.0012. And just put in a little bid just in case it actually got sold down to a spot it has held for nearly 7 months.

I want to share your optimism but for a company like this and their product, time may not be on their side. It’s as I’ve said before it’s a race to the technology. Someone could beat them to it. I think the best chance for us is that Rich is bought out by a company that’s on the verge of solving the tech problems related to Satenna or using the FIU research to get to the finish line. We need a working prototype. If they’re as close as you say then great.

If they wait until fall for something to break, that would be OK with me. I'd still like to buy a little more. But thanks for your words of encouragement Tom t.

I just have to keep telling myself that there are always some "investors" involved with a stock that really don't know what they are doing. They also seem to be unable to hold a stock for any length of time, even for a prolonged period when they are actually at a net loss. Quick profit is all they want. Then when things don't go as planned, they sell and bring the rest of us down with them.

But now when I put a buy order in, as so many of you probably have caught on to in your own trading, I purposely set the buy price lower than market. Then when the "yahoos" sell, or when the MMs manipulate the price downward, I can have a nice little "favor" in my account.

$DLOC- Nice point but might I add-

They are far closer than most and the latest S-1 presented intriguing plans and use of IP to do just that. I feel strongly here that we will at least be rewarded with a matriculated PPS to make this investment or trade worthy.
Obv it would then take substance and merit on company end to maintain that.

I’m looking forward to the next strong retail buying volume day. IMO- A few days strong together and we are testing the blue sky.

It’s always bizarre to see someone sellout a position in that manner but to each their own. This one will be back in .002’s in a session or two and back trending toward .003+ pps.

There is so much to like here for a developmental state company that the current pps value vs structure presents incredible upside here.

There connection to FIU and inherently the public is also a reason I feels strongly that we will see some solid fundamentals that will increase share price and allow us to become rewarded for our early entry. I have been here for nearly 2 years and I have no reason to leave now. If anything - they are growing their IP and value and not diluting. To me- that excellent management for this type of corp.

The next fundamental has to be close - the trend to come out with several news events one after another. I imagine we could test 52 week highs at that point.

That's why I haven't made a huge commitment with this company investment wise. It's a race to the 'technology'. If it happens great, if not, the loss is acceptable. So is life in the OTC. They need to produce a prototype.

If that's the case whomever it was figures they can always get back in w/o share price getting away from them. Imo seems we're quite the ways off from substantial news.

Why are they investing in it if it has limited ability? I would guess they think it can be made better..but haven't looked into it.

Having one's own satellites is a huge differentiator.

I own DLOC, see it as a long shot, but still might happen..Just trying to keep an open mind here.

Eventually, after the price comes down, I would more than likely buy such a device. I sure wish I could buy it from DLOC.

What I meant was prior to reading and replying to scottyx's post the assumption i made was any satelite players in the sector would have no real use for satenna. At the time perhaps i should of done more dd before i jumped in a few months ago but his explanation on how satenna's use will improve the user's experience has quelled the aforementioned thought gltu

Why would it be mute when you have other big players in the game who are going to want in on the satellite connectivity game. Sprint, Verizon, At&t, etc

That would explain why Rich continues to push forward satenna otherwise with all the competition on the satellite side the point bringing satenna to market would be mute. At least that's what I'm thinking

It is possible to transmit and receive data without special cell phone modification but the data stream will be extremely limited and extremely slow and currently requires being outside to get access to the sky as well. OK for emergencies or limited messaging but not exactly what people mainly want from cell phone communication. If FIU is able to make the tech work, it will absolutely revolutionize cell phone connectivity options.

You people are confusing the hell out of me.

Simple question: Is DLOC technology needed for cell phones to be able to receive data from satellites or not? Is this other company able to transmit data to cell phones without any modification to the cell phone?

If there is a company that can do this, please post their URL and/or website address.

Yes they did say on their web Page that is at the same frequency as the cell phones operate that's why they don't have to do modifications to the cell phones...

but that is Good news i like what you said originally i was hesitant to comment that on here but i wanted to see opinions I'm glad you said that because i have a lot of money invested in DLOC

AST Space mobile transmits in the MHz frequencies as opposed to SpaceX which is in the GHz frequencies for cell phones. The GHz domain permits way more data/speed- that's the allure.

Very similar , and they own their own satellites.

Back in the middle of February I jumped in and have been accumulating since. I knew going in it would be a slow process. Tempted to add again but my mindset has changed some and beginning to think digital is somewhat more far off than i anticipated. I cannot say for certain but imo currently I'm hoping they're showing a sense of urgency to prove their tech and at least will able to grab some of the market share even if it's a small piece. If they're another year or 2 away then someone will beat them to it and it becomes all for not. Obviously hoping this isn't the case tho

I really honestly think that if and when DLOC goes up, it will go up in a massive way like ASTS.

Just watch the numbers day to day and see if all of you don't feel the same way.

I will say that watching the trading, it looks to me like someone is slowly accumulating shares. Is it possible that the company or someone working with the company and/or the MMs is buying shares?

That’s definitely why this is an intriguing stock with IP to follow. All we need is more good news here

In my situation, as in other people's, this technology that DLOC is working on could be licensed to internet providers that would like to offer their clients "mobile internet". In the near future, I would like to be able to head north to our family cottage and do all of my remote lessons from there. At this point, I would have to get WIFI there at the cottage. With what I have in mind, I wouldn't have to do that. Just take the modem and/or router up to the cottage and I am in business. What a selling point that would be.

The chart techs look great for a break to the North on any good news since their is no or very minor overhang. Nice points and I fully agree. I will continue to be patient here for the reward coming imo.

This is an ideal story stock imo and I can sit here as I did for the past 9 months if they communicate to us. The more they tend to communicate - the more viable it feels and I love research stocks at university. It adds a solid element of sense of worth and importance imo to conduct and analyze university research as part of the stock intrigue.
