(Amex(R)) today began trading Morgan Stanley's 9% SPARQS based on
Valero Energy Corporation. Priced at $19.55 with an initial offer
size of 1,099,744 shares, this equity trades under the ticker
symbol VLR and has a maturation date of November 1, 2006. The notes
