NOTICE OF GRANT OF OPTIONS IN TERMS OF BRAIT'S LISTINGS REQUIREMENTS


In compliance with Brait's listings requirements, notice is hereby given that
the following directors were granted options in terms of the Brait S.A. Share
Incentive Scheme ("the Scheme") effective 6 July 2004 at an allocation price of
R7.22 per ordinary Brait share (being the volume-weighted average traded price
of Brait ordinary shares for the seven days prior to 6 July 2004).  Approval for
the respective allocation and clearance to deal was given on 6 July 2004.
