    LIBERTAS CAPITAL GROUP PLC

    Acquisition of Hoggett Ltd and Trading Update

    Libertas Capital Group plc (AIM : LBR), the international financial services group ("the Company"), announces that it has agreed to
acquire Hoggett Limited, an unregulated corporate finance company incorporated in the British Virgin Islands with registered company number
1469840. 

    As well as investments valued at approximately �770,000, Hoggett brings a considerable volume of advisory business currently underway or
under discussion, potentially amounting to �4.5m in gross revenues, with a modest fixed cost base.

    Consideration will be through the issue of 10 million new ordinary 1p shares in the Company valued at 10p each, and warrants over a
further 100,000 shares exercisable at 12.5p.  These new shares are expected to be admitted to trading on 19 December 2008.

    Jakob Kinde, the Executive Chairman of the Company, said: "This is a very exciting development for Libertas Capital. As well as
strengthening our balance sheet, Hoggett brings us some very attractive revenue business opportunities, a wealth of experience, and a wide
network of investors."

    As in line with our industry, trading is currently difficult. However, lately there have been signs of improvement in trading conditions
and our pipeline of mandates business is strong. Also, discussions have been underway for a number of months with a number of potential
strategic investors.
