("Oxus Gold") of the following interest in its issued share capital.

Following the distribution of Oxus Gold's shareholding in Marakand to its own
shareholders, as announced on 6 February 2004, Oxus Gold's resultant holding in
the Company is 57,817,918 shares. This holding represents 57.2% of Marakand's
issued share capital.
