incubator/accelerator opens new, years-in-the-making innovation
center to the public

(FITCI) is thrilled to announce the launch of its new innovation
center, Maryland's EDGE at 321.
The Launch Celebration will be held July 18,
2024, at 5:30 PM. The
state-of-the-art innovation center, located at 321 Ballenger Center
Drive in Frederick, is the
realization of a long journey toward growth for the nonprofit
incubator/accelerator.
FITCI's CEO Kathie

FITCI's commitment to driving innovation and supporting
entrepreneurs knows no bounds."
The Launch Celebration will open the entrepreneurial innovation
center's doors to the public and unveil the brand-new space
designed to inspire innovation, collaboration, and breakthrough
discoveries. The event will commence with a "different" kind of
ribbon cutting ceremony followed by guided tours. The event will
feature a journey into the future of innovation in Frederick with a showcase of futurist
innovation, networking opportunities, food, and drink.
The event promises an exciting showcase of cutting-edge
technologies, sustainable solutions, and scientific developments
that are set to drive the future of innovation beyond Frederick.
The innovation center offers state-of-the-art wet lab spaces,
collaborative shared lab spaces, offices, suites, an educational
lab space, and a 4,200 square foot Base Camp community space, where
entrepreneurs and ecosystem members are encouraged to collaborate
and work together.
