Really? So, that is a reason to buy a stock that sank from $75 to under $2 under your guy? How stupid. Yes, I thought, wrongly that Plug would do well under the 'Green President'. Funny, it did better under the guy that said drill baby drill. Best to buy on merit of the company and if they can make money. Maybe, had we done that we would not be down so much. Buying or selling a stock for spite is childish and stupid in my opinion for what that is worth.

Plug should focus on Material Handling and Hydrogen Energy Storage Systems (HESS).

Renewable stocks are the perfect PROTEST investment against Trump's energy policy. An investment in Plug Power, the largest fuel cell company, is a double protest, both against the policy and against Musk's disbelief in 'fool cells'.

From now on, Plug's stock may not rise every day, but it will rise every month.

Almost $1 billion in non-cash impairment charges, representing more than 60% of Plug Power’s market cap, signal a significant overvaluation of assets and an acknowledgment that Plug Power’s growth was far ahead of market realities. This time, it's different: workforce cuts, a focus on the core business (material handling) and no wasteful spending in the near future.

Not sure you can be so positive they even survive. They took measures to reduce cost and still lost more money. Now they are doing it again. Will it be different this time. Until they prove that their words equal results it means nothing. Andy and his gang of misfits have failed quarter after quarter. Saying and doing are two different things. Been here for over 12 years and down huge and cannot write off the loss. I should have sold when Andy did. I want to know how many actually took the stock for pay deal and what percentage. You think they will tell us or was this just another false flag.

Plug Power will find itself alone in the hydrogen world once again.
Hydrogen companies that launched projects in recent years are facing financial challenges and technical issues. Those just starting pilot/testing projects will soon realize just how difficult hydrogen can be.
Plug Power, the largest hydrogen company in the world, will become both the first choice and the last resort for hydrogen projects.

Plug Power has had some 'bad' partners who worked with the company to gain experience in hydrogen equipment, only to later abandon Plug in favor of larger players, similar to what happened with Renault. Renault will likely build a fuel cell van in collaboration with Volvo (Geely).

I never believe deals anymore until they are paid since Andy has decided to never update deals or shareholders. I wish Andy would have done what they are doing now when he got Billions and then they would not have squandered our opportunity and could be making money now. We wasted so much money chasing rainbows and not doing what we do well and making it even better and profitable. Not sure they can pull off ever making money as I don't know if Andy cares about profits. He got his.

I think the two very large projects heading to FID in the near term are H2 Energy/Morgen, Denmark (by the end of the quarter) and New Fortress Energy in Beaumont, Texas.

Recognition and support for the hydrogen sector are happening in other parts of the world, but not in the US under this administration.
I think that when oil prices stay below $50 before June this year, oil companies will be very unhappy with the administration. For decades, commodity/oil traders have been responsible for regime changes around the world.

The Chinese government’s National Energy Administration has issued a document instructing its provinces and regions to “steadily develop renewable hydrogen production and sustainable fuel industries”.
The paper, entitled Guiding Opinions on Energy Work in 2025, also calls on the local administrations to build pilot hydrogen transmission pipeline projects, and “promote the pilot application of fuel-cell vehicles”.
The document has been written to “thoroughly implement” the decisions of the State Council (ie, the cabinet led by President Xi Jinping) and the Central Committee of the Chinese Communist Party, it explains, with a view to helping the Chinese economy recover and “meet the people’s growing energy demand for a better life”.

I'm not specifically talking DOE, or 45V. Which by the way many folks expected these two events to be "game changers" for this sector, we see how that's worked out so far. I'm talking some recognition and acknowledgment for this sector. Also, it does not help if companies like Plug are lumped in with other clean energy companies and publicly being called Biden's Green Energy Scams by the U.S Govt. That term does not signal support for this sector and destroys share price in the market

Forget about the DOE loan.
Plug’s three hydrogen production plants are sufficient to counter Air Products' hydrogen price manipulation. With hydrogen production, mostly gray, set to increase dramatically in the coming years, Air Products' monopoly position will diminish. Let others build the hydrogen plants.
In the near term, Plug should focus on Material Handling and Hydrogen Energy Storage System (HESS).

I still believe this entire sector needs to be brought back to life, and I believe the quickest way is with politics, and politicians. Government backing sky rocketed this to $75.00 back in 2020 (which would now equal $37.00 after all the dilution).

Mac - There are thousands of vehicles which use Wind Energy for propulsion.

My home / primary vehicle (Lagoon 620) , is wind powered, and it has solar powered BEV auxillary power as well . Very Quiet and Zero - Carbon.!
My secondary vehicle (BMW i-8) , is a gasoline / BEV hybrid with an on-board generator. According to my trip computer, my car has been zero emission more than 95% of the time. This more than exceeds the 80% goals set by most nations.

One of Nikola's first trucks was gravity powered. In fact it was used in a Nikola commercial, making it a Gravity Powered Commercial Vehicle.

Electric, wind and gravity are all cleaner and cheaper than Hydrogen.

Mac - Do you know of a vehicle that is much cheaper to operate and has zero emissions ? Cheaper than even gasoline and no NOX or COX.

Small amount of NOx but no CO2

Mac - So not really the engine, but and add on to the exhaust system.

The engine still produces harmful Toxic emissions.
