Now why would you want to buy a Porsche over a Model 3 performance?? You could get a powerwall too for the price of a Porsche!!! Especially with FSD in the future!!! It would depend if they have the same rebate/subsidy as the US has on his cars (lower priced ones) and other manufactures in the US of pure electric cars. He gets $7500 per car sold from the US Government.

Wow, a steady train of FUD on the TSLA board lately. A constant stream of nonsense about batteries, Hybrids, Elon, production and many other often disproved junk. However, the new Model Y is coming out of all 3 factories and has hundreds of thousands of orders. The old model Y is no longer being made. The 3 month hold and the people waiting for the new model instead of the old is about over. The new cheaper model will be revealed this summer some time. I know what I hold and am NOT a trader.

The batteries are full of toxic chemicals and nobody is going to be excited about the disposal or recycling (just manufacturer hype) as the volume of old batteries will soon be in millions yearly.

Fun fact. You have to drive a Tesla 60,000 miles before the carbon emission catches up with the ICE engines. The processes involved in battery production is nasty and the whole process puts out a lot of carbon. There are plenty of science articles that doubt EVs are a smart choice if you are worried about Carbon or the local environments destroyed in the steps.

last year Q1 earnings 0.45 this year would be lucky to be 0.30 for Q1 2025

Can accounting move around cost and book sales to pump up Q1? Sure, but actual sales are the story. Will Musk come out on the CC and talk about the millions of Robotaxis to be produced in 2 years like he did in 2016? 99% chance of yes on that.

Has a Tesla Robotaxi gone one mile with a paying customer without a driver? No. Has Waymo been operating for years with autonomous Robotaxis with paying customers in multiple cities? Yes

Autonomous Robots in the home by the millions in a couple of years. We all know better.

TSLA is a meme pumped up to a rare valuation. Does Wall Street want to pump this any longer than they have too? No, that game is dead and they would really like to make billions $ on their short hedging.

TSLA is a meme stock with valuations that do not come close to reflecting fundamentals of Tesla

Next generation hybrids like Toyota's have a new short stroke engine that can run on multiple fuels. The reinvented ICE can charge the EV while driving and there is potential for 1000 mile range . Performance is more like an EV than a traditional ICE. Carbon footprint is smaller than any EV because of the lack of need for exotic minerals in building the toxic battery system in the normal EVs. It can support fully self driving.

Toyota expects mass production by 2027.

I don't invest that way and I assume other people don't invest that way either. Tesla is a car company. Maybe it wants to be a robot company. The car company is worth $40b. The robot company is worth the other $$850b? I don't think so.
