BlackBerry Limited (BB) Options

Thanks for sharing those. I'll check them out.

On my end, I do have two that I currently own that I like and feel they have great potential.

1) BBAI - Besides the fact that the first two letters is my current fave stock, BBAI first caught my attention in early December. AI is pretty hot these days and I previously owned another stock PLTR but jumped out too early (in at $29, out at $50). They are big in airport security, government, and defense. They've even partnered with PLTR. I'm hoping BBAI follows PLTR's stock price path. I bought in at $2.79.

2) FUBO - This one was actually a fluke one that I first heard about from a Youtube daytrader that mentioned it in passing. FUBO is a streaming service that is big in sports TV and they were in a lawsuit with Disney who were wanting to get their hands into sports TV as well. It was more of a risky play but there was a compelling argument to buy in. There was a chance that the lawsuit might be dropped and Disney would rather settle since they may not have had a solid case against FUBO. So I bought in around $1.50. The stock floundered for a bit until Disney announced they were entering into a definitive agreement to combine with Hulu and FUBO, effectively dismissing the lawsuit between them. The stock shot up several bucks and I sold half around $4. But I'm sticking around with the remaining half to see where FUBO goes once the merger becomes reality.

Heh $6 is proving to be elusive.  Then again alot of the market is down.  

If they are planning a buyout, it's definitely on the hush-hush tip.     They are making the company more attractive to prospective buyers so it makes sense.  Whoever does buy them better give a fair market price.   We shall see.  👀

They have slashed expenses (companies do this preparing for a buyout) resulting in profitability, QNX in over 275 million cars and growing exponentially and there have been talks of a buyout in the past

Michael Daniels to retire from Board of Directors. 8K made point to state that he's not leaving because of any disagreements with the company. According to ChatGPT, he's 75 years old. It's definitely time for him to enjoy the fruits of Blackberry's labor.

Interesting post from Reddit. Blackrock ETF has Blackberry as #1 on its holding list. The list includes PLTR which itself shot up from low $20s in early 2024 to over $116 as of today.
