There are no other operating subsidiaries of FPFCQ. They only had two, First Place Bank and First Place Holdings Inc.
First Place Holdings Inc has no active operations.
It sold it's main subsidiary First Place Insurance about 1 1/2yrs ago.
First Place Holdings Inc does have two more subsidiaries... it still owns 100% of a real estate agency, First Place Real Estate, Ltd. and 75% of a title company, Title Works Agency, LLC.
As far as I can confirm.
It appears that First Place Real Estate is operating under Caldwell Banker as a local RE.

And the title company has five employees...

Neither would bring great value to this stock....if they survive the CH11 process.

One of the primary functions of broker-dealers is to act as intermediaries for investors that are buying or selling stock. Often, to carry out that function, broker-dealers will handle such investor orders on a riskless principal basis. A riskless sale is one in which a broker-dealer, after having received an order to sell a security, sells the security as principal, at the same price, to satisfy that order. Regulations require broker-dealers to mark their proprietary riskless sell order as short if they don't own the security, even if the customer order to sell the security is long. Since broker-dealers generally donβt maintain a position, a significant number of such riskless sales are reported as short, even though the customer is selling long, and the broker-dealer intends to and will buy the shares from the long selling customer immediately after the proprietary riskless short sale takes place.

That data is meaningless when looking at any short 'position' on FPFCQ.
OTCShortReport is always meaningless because it reports FTDs, not short interest.
Here's the SEC explaining how this works :
..."fail to deliver" occurs when a broker-dealer fails to deliver securities to the party on the other side of the transaction on settlement date. There are many justifiable reasons why broker-dealers do not or cannot deliver securities on settlement date. A broker-dealer may experience a problem that is either unanticipated or is out of its control, such as....
(1) delays in customers delivering their shares to a broker-dealer,
(2) the inability to obtain borrowed shares in time for settlement,
(3) issues related to the physical transfer of securities, or
(4) the failure of a broker-dealer to receive shares it had purchased to fulfill its delivery obligations. Fails to deliver can result from both long and short sales."
http://regsho.com/faq/investorquestions.php
Please note that fails-to-deliver can occur for a number of reasons on both long and short sales. Therefore, fails-to-deliver are not necessarily the result of short selling, and are not evidence of abusive short selling or βnakedβ short selling
http://www.sec.gov/foia/docs/failsdata.htm
One cannot conclude looking at OTCShortReport as to short positions,( or NSS and or even Abusive NSS), the data cannot provide a specific cause and one must use other reports to determine specifics.
For example one must use the Bi-Monthly Short INTEREST report to determine actual SHORT POSITIONS.
