I understand there is a limit to political/election talk on this page,
But the GSEs always have and will be, as long as they exist, a "political play." It has nothing to do with their design because they were designed well as GSEs. It's about their partisan and commercial opponents, which rhymes with "big bank" and "big lender.".
So forget about earnings (which are superb)-- given their capital and charter handcuffs)--market share, volumes, buyers and sellers, and those things. that once--but no longer--move stock values and prices.

1.35 (EOD), 1.50 (Tue), 1.60 (Wed) and 1.80 (Till Elections) wouldl be a decent path... predictable patterns: always profit-taking in the morning after a big day ... next, since we've rebounded back to 1.35 (early afternoon) we should have pretty good buying more rebound above yesterday's level (likely) but then profit taking again going into the close ... this has also been a pretty frequent and predictable pattern (works much better for the manipulators) ... much less volume today ... we'll be able to tell more if volume picks back up today or throughout the next couple of days into the week's close

Looks like the wad was shot yesterday.
