 AMBIENT SUBSIDIARY MONEYBOX SIGNS ATM OUTSOURCING DEAL WITH BRADFORD & BINGLEY


London, 18th March 2003 - Ambient plc, the AIM-listed business and marketing
services group, announced today that Moneybox Corporation Limited ("Moneybox"),
in which Ambient is the 60.1% majority shareholder, has signed an agreement to
manage and maintain the ATM network of Bradford & Bingley plc, one of the UK's
leading providers of financial and property services.  Under the agreement,
Moneybox will replace Bradford & Bingley's existing estate with its own
machines, and will provide ongoing transaction processing, maintenance and cash
management services.

Moneybox, which already provides outsourced ATM services to the Norwich &
Peterborough and Chelsea Building Societies, will take over responsibility for
Bradford & Bingley's network in June 2003, and full migration to the new
Moneybox machines will be completed by September.   Customers will not be
charged for using the new ATMs, and in addition, Bradford & Bingley cardholders
will be able to change their four digit Personal Identification Number ("PIN")
free of charge at any of Moneybox's estate of over 2,100 ATM's throughout the
UK.
