Cemtrex Secures Mercury Monitor Order in Chlor-Alkali Plant

FARMINGDALE, N.Y., June 5 /PRNewswire-FirstCall/ -- Cemtrex Inc.
(OTC:CTEX) announced that it has secured an order to supply its
Mercury Monitoring System at a chlor-alkali plant manufacturing
chlorine gas. Cemtrex will install its MMS (Mercury Monitoring
System) designed for continuous measurement of the mercury
concentration in air at multiple measuring points; up to 16
sampling points are measured automatically by means of an
integrated multiplexer system. The Cemtrex MMS consists of the
following components: VM-3000 mercury vapor monitor, GM-3000
multiplexer control unit, multiplexer valve units with 8 heated
valves each and two flow meters with alarms, Any Bus Communicator
for Modbus, sample tubing made of special low absorbing material
(FEP), and sample inlet filters with a replaceable PTFE membrane (1
micrometer pore size). Cemtrex has installed several continuous
mercury monitors for fugitive and process monitoring under 40 CFR
Part 63 reporting requirements. "The EPA regulation promulgated
under 40 CFR Part 63 classify mercury emissions from chlor-alkali
