Encision's newest disposable laparoscopic instruments will give

energy burns - a first in the healthcare industry BOULDER, Colo.,
March 31 /PRNewswire-FirstCall/ -- Beginning this week, hospitals
will have a unique opportunity to offer surgeons greater control
and precision during surgeries while simultaneously delivering
increased safety to patients. Encision Inc. (AMEX:ECI) ("Encision"
or the "Company") announced today that it is launching its new
disposable hand-activated fixed-tip electrode line of laparoscopic
instruments. The new disposable fixed-tip electrode line features
hand activation for surgeons who prefer to energize the electrode
via a fingertip switch rather than pressing their foot on a foot
pedal. "The introduction of our disposable hand switching,
fixed-tip electrode line is a major step in fulfilling our goal of
presenting customers with both disposable and reusable options in
the laparoscopic instruments they prefer," said Jack Serino,
Encision President & CEO. "We are pleased to provide the
ultimate in patient safety with our AEM(R) technology along with
best of class ergonomic instruments. Besides offering surgeons AEM
at their fingertips, the new disposable fixed-tip electrodes
feature an easy to reach rotation knob with a locking feature and a
comfort grip handle. Hand-activated instruments represent a growing
market segment that our Company is pleased to participate in with
this new product line." The new product line consists of a
disposable handle with integral cord and disposable electrodes
available in six popular tip styles. The disposable electrodes are
available in both 35cm lengths for routine procedures and 45cm
lengths for bariatric procedures. Encision Inc. designs, develops,
manufactures and markets innovative surgical devices that allow
surgeons to optimize technique and patient safety during a broad
range of surgical procedures. Based in Boulder, Colorado, the
