            Ennex Proposes Name Change to Petroceltic International


  * Restructuring reflects new Focus on Oil and Gas

  * Company announces interim profit

Dublin; Wednesday, 24 September, 2003: Ennex International plc has announced the
completion of a restructuring phase and proposes to change its name to
Petroceltic International plc at the forthcoming AGM. The company has also
announced that John Craven (currently non-executive Director), is taking over
the role as Managing Director and that Brian Cusack (currently non-executive
Chairman) will become Executive Chairman. The firm has also announced that it
has raised US$860,000 from the sale of its stake in Faroe Petroleum plc.

In its Interim Report to 30 June, 2003 issued today, the company reports that it
has reached profitability with an interim profit of US$69,000 compared to a loss
of US$254,000 for the same period last year.

Brian Cusack (Executive Chairman) said, "The restructuring, including changing
of name to Petroceltic International, reflects our renewed focus on the oil and
gas exploration sector. In the first six months we have examined a large number
of oil and gas opportunities in particularly in the Celtic Sea, the UK and
Africa." He said that a number of these are at an advanced stage and the company
expects to be in a position to announce some developments and/or acquisitions in
the near future.
