HyperSpace(R) Communications Names Shawn Juister Vice President, Strategic Channel Sales DENVER, Jan. 13 /PRNewswire-FirstCall/ -- HyperSpace Communications, Inc. (AMEX:HCO), a leading provider of application acceleration software, today announced the appointment of Shawn Juister as vice president, strategic channel sales. Mr. Juister is a veteran technology sales executive who will spearhead an aggressive channel sales initiative designed to develop new routes to market with channel partners in either a reseller or OEM model. HyperSpace's acceleration software helps businesses drive profitability and productivity by optimizing their existing networks through increased scalability and manageability. At Fronisys, Mr. Juister was responsible for the overall operation of the company with a focus on developing the initial customer and partner relationships. Pertinent to his new role with HyperSpace, Mr. Juister is the former executive vice president, business and corporate development with RateIntegration, a venture-backed startup technology company that closed $7 million in revenue in its first 12 months of commercial operations. His achievements at RateIntegration include development of new customers including British Telecom, Qwest Wireless, Cable & Wireless, and VeriSign through development of third party channels. Mr. Juister's prior assignments include positions as director of business development with Evolving Systems, senior manager, channel sales with Frontier Communications, and national account director with TRW Financial Information Services. He holds a Master of Science in Marketing from the University of Colorado at Denver and a Bachelor of Science in Finance and Business Administration from the University of Colorado.
