HYDRO INTERNATIONAL PLC (the "Company")

ADDITIONAL LISTING


The Company announces that, pursuant to the terms of its Executive Share Option
Scheme, options over 10,000 ordinary shares of 5p each ("Shares") have been
exercised at 21.5 pence per Share.

Application has been made to the UK Listing Authority for 10,000 Shares to be
admitted to the Official List and to the London Stock Exchange for these Shares
to be admitted to trading. The Shares will, upon issue, rank pari passu with the
existing issued shares of the Company and dealings are expected to commence on
Wednesday, 10 September 2003.
