LYNCH BECOMES CHAIRMAN OF TALLADEGA AND VP, ISC STRATEGIC PROJECTS DAYTONA BEACH, Fla., July 20 /PRNewswire-FirstCall/ -- International Speedway Corporation (Nasdaq Global Select Market: ISCA; OTC Bulletin Board: ISCB) ("ISC") today announced Joie Chitwood III will join the Company as Vice President of Business Operations, effective August 10, 2009. In addition, the Company announced W. Grant Lynch Jr. will become Chairman of Talladega Superspeedway and Vice President, ISC Strategic Projects. Chitwood, 40, will lead strategy development and oversee business execution across the Company's 13 motorsports facilities and Americrown Service Corp., ISC's catering, concessions and merchandising subsidiary. He will report to ISC Executive Vice President and Chief Operating Officer, Roger VanDerSnick. In his new role as Chairman of Talladega and VP, ISC Strategic Initiatives, Lynch will oversee strategic management and community leadership for one of ISC's premier facilities while continuing to provide leadership and execution for key strategic projects across the Company.
