American Stock Exchange Launches Trading in Five New ETFs From Powershares

NEW YORK, Dec. 1 /PRNewswire/ -- The American Stock Exchange(R)
(Amex(R)) today announced that it has launched trading in five new
exchange traded funds (ETFs) from PowerShares Capital Management
LLC (PowerShares), including the first Financial Preferred
Portfolio and Value Line Industry Rotation Portfolio. These new
PowerShares ETFs bring the total number of ETF listings on the Amex
to 216. "The American Stock Exchange continues to work with leaders
in the industry to bring innovative products to the marketplace,
and we are proud once again to be partnering with PowerShares to
launch five new ETFs," said Cliff Weber, Senior Vice President of
the Amex ETF Marketplace. "These new ETFs increase the number of
PowerShares' listings on the Amex to 55." The PowerShares Financial
Preferred Portfolio (Symbol: PGF) seeks investment results that
correspond generally to the price and yield (before fees and
expenses) of the WHPS(SM) Financial Index, which is calculated
using a market capitalization weighting methodology. The
PowerShares Dynamic Large Cap Portfolio (Symbol: PJF) seeks
investment results that correspond generally to the price and
yield, before fees and expenses, of the Dynamic Large Cap
Intellidex(SM) Index, which is comprised of stocks of 100 U.S.
large-cap companies. The PowerShares Dynamic Mid-Cap Portfolio
(Symbol: PJG) seeks investment results that correspond generally to
the price and yield, before fees and expenses, of the Dynamic Mid
Cap Intellidex(SM) Index, which is comprised of stocks of 150 U.S.
mid-cap companies. The PowerShares Dynamic Small Cap Portfolio
(Symbol: PJM) seeks investment results that correspond generally to
the price and yield, before fees and expenses, of the Dynamic Small
Cap Intellidex(SM) Index, which is comprised of stocks of 200 U.S.
small-cap companies. The PowerShares Value Line Industry Rotation
Portfolio (Symbol: PYH) seeks investment results that correspond
generally to the price and yield, before fees and expenses, of the
Value Line Industry Rotation Index, which is comprised of 75 stocks
chosen based on their Timeliness(TM) rank and their industry
