BLM Suspends Activity at Mallard Prospect for Winter DENVER, Dec. 2 /PRNewswire-FirstCall/ -- PYR Energy Corporation (AMEX:PYR) today announced that the Bureau of Land Management ("BLM") has suspended drilling activities at the Mallard Prospect in Uinta County, Wyoming, effective December 1, 2004, due to wildlife critical winter range restrictions. As a result, the well will be temporarily suspended and secured in compliance with applicable federal and state regulations, until the wildlife restrictions are lifted in mid-2005. At the time of suspension, the Mallard test well had not reached the proposed total depth nor had it encountered the targeted horizon of interest.
