The Board of ECIC announces that the Company has sold its 277,275 common shares
in Plains Resources Inc. (PLX) to PLX at $12 per share. The proceeds of $3.3
million, which is equivalent to the valuation at 31 December 2002, have now been
received and as a result the total cash currently held by ECIC is approximately
$11 million.
