Investment in Financial Services

The Directors are pleased to announce that Eight Capital has acquired a 59.9% stake in Financial Innovations Team Srl ("FIT"). FIT has been operating in financial services in the Italian and European markets for 18 years, sourcing investment transactions and providing corporate finance services in particular in transaction advisory and execution.

The remaining 40.1% of FIT is owned by Finance Partners Group SpA, a company in which Eight Capital has a 40% stake. It is Eight Capital's intention to restructure this ownership over time into a single direct ownership, in partnership with the management of FIT, to optimise the value of its holding.

Eight Capital's strategy is to invest in tech, media, telecom and financial services businesses (which include listed investing companies). In financial services it intends to expand its activities in Europe through organic growth or acquisition, so that it can deliver cross-border capital raise and corporate finance services.
