SCHNEIDER ELECTRIC SE (SU.FR) said it plans to take a
controlling stake in AVEVA GROUP PLC (AVV.LN) sending shares of the
U.K.-based engineering software provider soaring.
At 1315 GMT, Aveva shares are up 511 pence, or 29%, at 2,283
pence.
GOLDPLAT PLC (GDP.LN) shares fell after the company warned that
the operating loss for the whole of fiscal 2015 will be "materially
the same" as that for the first half ended Dec. 31, 2014, citing
delays in trading improvements.
Shares -0.1 pence, or 6.25%, at 1.9 pence.
SABIEN TECHNOLOGY GROUP PLC (SNT.LN) shares are trading higher
after the company set itself a target to return to profit in fiscal
2018, and said it has raised 770,000 pounds ($1.19 million) via an
oversubscribed share placing.
Shares +0.75 pence, or 12%, at 7.25 pence.
HORIZON DISCOVERY GROUP PLC (HZD.LN) said it remains confident
about delivering continued strong growth in the second half of 2015
after revenue for the first half more than doubled.
Shares +4 pence, or 2.5%, at 162.5 pence.
PROTON POWER SYSTEMS PLC (PPS.LN) shares jumped after the
producer of fuel cells and fuel cell electric hybrid systems said
it signed a cooperation agreement with DB Bahnbau Gruppe GmbH, the
service company of German Rail, for rail network infrastructure
installation and maintenance.
Shares +1.1 pence, or 16%, at 8.4 pence.
88 ENERGY LIMITED (88E.LN) shares dropped in London after the
dual-listed company said its shares have been placed in a trading
halt on the Australian Securities Exchange, pending the release of
an announcement in relation to a potential capital raising.
Shares -0.1 pence, or 15%, at 0.55 pence.
RAMBLER METALS & MINING PLC (RMM.LN), a Canadian copper and
gold producer, said it is in advanced talks to secure a $5 million
bridge-loan facility from its current offtake partner to expedite
the development of its Lower Footwall Zone project.
Shares +1.75 pence, or 18%, at 11.5 pence.
MICHELMERSH BRICK HOLDINGS PLC (MBH.LN) has made several changes
to its board composition and reported a 96% jump in first half
pre-tax profit. The brick manufacturer said Frank Hanna and Peter
Sharp will jointly assume the position of chief executive, while
current CEO Martin Warner will move to the deputy chairman
position.
Shares -4.5 pence, or 4.8%, at 89 pence.
XLMEDIA PLC (XLM.LN), a digital marketing company, said it has
traded strongly in the first six months of the year and performed
in line with market expectations, as it posted a rise in
earnings.
Shares +3.75 pence, or 6.25%, at 63.75 pence.
WORLDVIEW CAPITAL MANAGEMENT LLP said it plans to put forward a
resolution that proposes PETROCELTIC INTERNATIONAL PLC (PCI.LN)
seeks approval for any "material" asset sales.
Petroceltic shares -2.25 pence, or 2.7%, at 80 pence.
