CHICAGO, June 30 /PRNewswire-FirstCall/ -- The Female Health
Company (NASDAQ:FHCO) today announced that it has been added to the
Russell 2000(R) Index after the Russell Investment Group
reconstituted its comprehensive set of U.S. and global equity
indexes on June 26th, 2009. The Russell 2000(R) Index is comprised
of companies 1001 through 3000 within the Russell 3000, and is
generally viewed as the benchmark for small cap companies. "We are

for inclusion in the Russell 2000(R) Index and believe that this
