On the funding:

Why would anyone pay a company before a finished product is delivered? The only time
I am aware of that happening is IF the ones on the hook to pay are FUNDING the development
via a contract. AKA, why I mentioned the MILESTONE payment approach.

Proactive - Interviews for investors
Asian Battery Metals' new drill targets
Asian Battery Metals PLC managing director Gan-Ochir Zunduisuren talked with Proactive about the company’s upcoming drilling activities at its Gambit Project in Mongolia. Zunduisuren confirmed that AZ9 is fully funded for its latest regional exploration program, which includes key targets MS1, MS2, and Copper Ridge. The MS1 and MS2 drill targets have never been drilled before. According to Zunduisuren, these are “coincidental, magnetic gravity and IP anomalies,” which may suggest a concealed magmatic system. He explained that this complements the ongoing exploration strategy at Oval and could help build a pipeline of future copper and nickel mineralization. Zunduisuren highlighted that at the Copper Ridge prospect, a previous drill hole intersected more than 137 metres of copper and gold mineralisation. He noted that the area “has a good potential for hosting independent systems,” and that the company will be following up with more drilling. Additionally, the exploration program will be expanding into the CA Far East area. The phase three drilling program at Oval continues in parallel, with all results — including lab assessments — expected by the second half of June. Zunduisuren said the company will provide the market with updates once data from both Oval and regional targets is available. 👉 For more interviews like this, visit Proactive's YouTube channel. Sunda Energy reaches milestone with $9m of new investment to advance Chuditch gas project
Sunda Energy PLC CEO Andy Butler talked with Proactive's Stephen Gunnion about the company’s latest funding announcement and what it means for the Chuditch gas project. The interview outlined Sunda Energy's transition from uncertainty to a secure funding position that will support the upcoming drilling of the Chuditch field. Butler highlighted the significance of securing a 30% working interest in what he described as a "very material piece of a large gas field." Key engineering studies confirmed the project's potential, projecting production of approximately 300 million cubic feet of gas per day, equivalent to 50 million barrels of oil. Butler emphasised the alignment with government partner TIMOR GAP and the urgency to move forward: “We want to do it now.” A $9 million convertible loan note facility from three institutional investors was discussed in depth. The funding is structured to support growth, not maintenance, and contains anti-shorting provisions designed to mitigate common concerns associated with such instruments. Butler addressed these concerns directly: “We see it as an instrument that fuels our growth rather than creates any toxicity.” The convertible facility, subject to shareholder approval at a general meeting on May 12, will be released in six monthly tranches starting mid-May. Butler also confirmed drilling is scheduled for late July due to rig scheduling and that preparations, including environmental permitting and rig contracting are progressing quickly. Solvonis Therapeutics eyes completion of Awakn acquisition following transformative 2024
Solvonis Therapeutics PLC CEO Anthony Tennyson talked with Proactive's Stephen Gunnion about the company's transformation and its strategy moving into 2025. Tennyson explained that the company, formerly known as Graft Polymer, exited its industrial plastics business in 2024 to focus entirely on biotechnology, particularly mental health and addiction treatments. "These are segments which have large addressable markets, poor current standards of care and therefore significant unmet medical needs," he said. He outlined how the company raised £1.8 million in mid-2024 to support its new growth strategy, which includes partnerships, joint ventures, and acquisitions. A central part of this strategy is the pending acquisition of Awakn Life Sciences, a clinical-stage biotech company focused on alcohol use disorder (AUD) and PTSD. Solvonis is acquiring Awakn in an all-paper deal valued between £3 million and £5 million. Tennyson said this represented significant value, highlighting that similar assets could command substantially higher valuations. Awakn’s AWKN-001, targeting severe AUD, is in phase 3 trials in the UK and EU. AWKN-002, for the US market, has received FDA support for a faster 505(b)(2) development pathway, allowing the use of Johnson & Johnson’s SPRAVATO® data to accelerate progress. Tennyson said the top priority for 2025 is closing and integrating the acquisition and executing on the clinical programs. He emphasised plans to file for FDA approval of a phase 2B trial and to continue to work with Awakn's existing UK partners. Visit Proactive's YouTube channel for more updates like this. Mosman Oil and Gas says historic sampling confirms helium at Sagebrush-1
Mosman Oil and Gas Ltd CEO Andy Carroll talked with Proactive's Stephen Gunnion about a significant milestone at the company’s Sagebrush-1 well, located in the Leadville formation. Carroll revealed that historic gas sample data from 1993 confirms the presence of helium at a concentration of 2.7%, alongside 20% methane. This discovery enables Mosman to transition from exploration to evaluating the commercialisation of the helium resource. “We were actually looking at a possible work-over at the existing well to get a gas sample, but we've got about 30 boxes of data from the previous operator and found in those boxes the original gas sample report,” Carroll said. The gas flow rate from the earlier test was in the range of 152 to 163 thousand cubic feet per day, indicating potential for commercial development. Carroll also noted the strategic benefit of methane being present alongside the helium. The methane could be used for on-site power generation to support helium processing, reducing dependence on external power sources. Additionally, existing infrastructure—including a mothballed pipeline and nearby helium plants—could significantly streamline transportation and processing. Looking ahead, Mosman is preparing feasibility studies and engaging with the Ute Mountain Ute Tribe and regulatory authorities to conduct further 3D seismic work. These efforts aim to refine drilling plans across the Sagebrush area and adjacent Coyote Wash leases.
