                      MV Sports Group plc (the "Company")

   Further re Offer by Tandem Group plc for MV Sports Group plc by means of a
Scheme of Arrangement under Section 425 of the Companies Act 1985 (the "Scheme")

The terms of the Scheme state that the Record Date (as defined in the Scheme) is
midnight on Friday 4 April 2003, and as such, persons entered on the Company's
register of members after that date will not qualify for the Scheme. A Court
hearing of the petition to sanction the Scheme, as set out in the Company's
circular of 21 February 2003, is scheduled for Monday 7 April 2003 and the
Company advises that trading in the Company's Ordinary Shares on AIM will be
suspended on Monday 7 April 2003 whilst the outcome of the Court hearing is
determined. Should the Court approve the Scheme, the Company will cease trading
on AIM at the close of business on Monday 7 April 2003 and the Tandem
Consideration Shares (as defined in the Scheme) will be admitted to trading on
AIM on Wednesday 9 April 2003.
