The following table lists unplanned and planned production
outages at U.S. refineries as reported by Dow Jones Newswires. The
information is compiled from both official and unofficial refining
sources and doesn't purport to be a comprehensive list.
Most recently, Tesoro Corp. (TSO) said Monday morning that it
was performing routine maintenance on a coker unit at its Los
Angeles area refinery.
The procedure should have "minimal impact on production," a
Tesoro spokesman said in an email.
Valero Energy Corp.'s (VLO) Port Arthur, Texas refinery hit a
snag over the weekend on the wet gas scrubber at the fluid
catalytic cracking unit, according to a regulatory filing. There
was no impact to production, the company said.
On Friday, ConocoPhillips' (COP) Borger, Texas, refinery
reported a process upset at Unit 45, according to a regulatory
filing.
Exxon Mobil Corp. (XOM) said Thursday that operations were
returning to normal after repairs of an FCCU unit at the Joliet,
Ill. refinery.
BP PLC (BP) said Thursday that operations were returning to
normal after a compressor snag resulted in emissions at its Carson,
Calif., plant. The same day, BP's Texas City refinery reported that
an FCCU unit leak resulted in emissions.
