Levco Energy and Dominion Retail Offer Lowest 2010 Electric Prices for Residential Customers

NORWALK, Conn., Jan. 18 /PRNewswire/ -- Levco Energy, a major
heating oil distributor and electricity marketer in Connecticut, is
offering residential customers lower prices for electricity on
their monthly bills. The new Dominion Retail prices are the lowest
fixed prices offered for calendar year 2010 to Connecticut
residential public utility consumers. CL&P and UI introduced
new rates effective January 1, 2010 for both residential and
commercial consumers. Dominion Retail pricing provides electric
generation rates ranging from 6.8 percent to 12.14 percent lower
than CL&P and UI Standard Service rates for residential and
commercial customers for 2010. Dominion Retail's rate for CL&P
residential or commercial customers is 10.3 cents per kilowatt hour
(kWh) until December 31, 2010. Dominion Retail's rate for UI
residential or commercial customers is 10.5 cents per kWh until
December 31, 2010. Customers can sign up for the lower prices by
calling 1-800-400-5574 or going to the Levco website at
levcoenergy.com. Levco is the electricity broker for Dominion
Retail, which has 1.9 million energy customers. Dominion was the
