LOUIS, Sept. 23 /PRNewswire-FirstCall/ -- TELUS and Amdocs today
announced the conversion of TELUS' British Columbia customers onto
an integrated software platform that includes Amdocs' customer
experience systems (CES) Billing, Ordering and Mediation products.
Amdocs is providing ongoing product support and maintenance for
this deployment. TELUS has previously deployed Amdocs CES in its
Alberta market. "Amdocs has been our strategic partner for nearly a
decade and is playing a major role in our move from dispersed
legacy billing systems to a unified system supporting all our
diverse customer bases," said Kevin Salvadori, TELUS executive
vice-president of Business Transformation. "Amdocs has effectively
helped us handle thousands of orders a day more efficiently,
enhancing our customers' experience while reducing our billing
costs." Amdocs CES supports TELUS' wireline voice, high-speed data
and Internet Protocol (IP) services, including IP television. By
providing a single view across the entire customer lifecycle, from
order to payment and spanning all wireline services, the Amdocs
platform is enabling TELUS to reduce customer service times and
offer customers a single and convergent bill. For more information
