Saipem Gets $500 Million Offshore Contracts in Venezuela, Brazil

Saipem SpA (SPM.MI), Europe's biggest oil services company by
market value, Monday said it got new offshore engineering and
construction contracts in Latin America worth a total of about $500
million.
In a statement, Saipem said the contracts involved the natural
gas Perla project in Venezuela, as well as contracts for Sapinhoa
Norte and Iracema Sul in Brazil in the Santos Basin pre-salt
region.
Saipem, which is controlled by Eni SpA (E), is slated to report
first-quarter results Tuesday.
