Energias de Portugal SA (EDPFY, EDP.LB), the country's largest power utility, said Tuesday its installed electricity capacity rose 6% in 2011, benefiting from an increase in wind power.

 
   MAIN FACTS:

-Installed capacity rose 6% to 23.2 gigawatts in 2011 on the year.

-Output was 59 terawatt hours in the full-year, 61% of which came from wind and hydroelectric power.

-EDP will publish full-year financial results March 8 after the market close.
