French construction company Eiffage SA (FGR.FR) Tuesday said it signed a $424 million contract to build an oil rig for French oil major Total SA (TOT) in Nigeria.

The project will include an oil rig, which will include lodging area for 124 people as well as a helicopter pad and a communication center, Eiffage said in a statement.

The rig will be located in the Ofon field, 50 kilometers off Port Harcourt in Southern Nigeria.
