SANTIAGO, Chile, Nov. 9 /PRNewswire-FirstCall/ -- Banco Santander
Chile (NYSE: SAN; SSE: Bsantander) today announced the pricing of
US$500 million of its 2.875% Senior Notes due 2012 in a private
offering. The proceeds from this private offering will be used to
finance the Bank's lending activities. The notes have not been and
will not be registered under the U.S. Securities Act of 1933, as
amended, and may not be offered or sold in the United States absent
registration or an applicable exemption from registration
requirements under the U.S. Securities Act of 1933, as amended.
