Australian Dollar Rises Against Majors

The Australian dollar strengthened against the other major
currencies in the Asian session on Thursday.
The Australian dollar rose to a 6-day high of 0.6958 against the
U.S. dollar, from yesterday's closing value of 0.6906.
Against the euro and the yen, the aussie advanced to 2-day highs
of 1.5621 and 81.64 from yesterday's closing quotes of 1.5758 and
80.76, respectively.
The aussie edged up to 1.0061 against the Canadian dollar, from
yesterday's closing value of 1.0016.
If the aussie extends its uptrend, it is likely to find
resistance around 0.71 against the greenback, 1.53 against the
euro, 84.00 against the yen and 1.01 against the loonie.
