Danish Krone Rises To 2-day High Against US Dollar

Denmark's currency gained ground against its US counterpart in
early trading on Friday. The Danish krone climbed to a 2-day high
of 5.0374 against the greenback by 5:30 am ET, up by more than 0.7
percent from Wednesday's fresh 5-week low of 5.0735. The pair is
presently worth 5.0411 with 5.025 seen as the next target
level.
The Danish krone is pegged to the euro since January 1, 1999.
Prior to the introduction of the euro, the Danish Krone was pegged
to the German Mark. The reference rate for the euro-krone pair is
at 7.4603.
