Philippine Peso Climbs To New Multi-month High Against US Dollar

The Philippine peso advanced to 46.455 against the US dollar on
Tuesday morning in Asia and this set the highest mark for the peso
since February 2nd. If the domestic currency ticks up further,
resistance is likely to be at the 46.43 level. The greenback-peso
pair, which closed Monday's North American deals at 46.685, is
presently quoted at 46.55.
The Philippines will release its consumer price index for
September on Tuesday. Inflation is predicted to climb 0.6 percent
on year following the 0.1 percent annual expansion in August. On
month, inflation is tipped to rise 0.1 percent following the 0.2
percent increase in August.
