Romanian Leu Declines From Multi-week High Versus Dollar

The Romanian Leu traded lower from previous session's multi-week
high of 2.9159 versus the US dollar in New York mid-day trading on
Friday. At present, the Romanian currency is trading near 2.9336
against the greenback, compared to Thursday's closing value of
2.9299.
Romania's current account deficit narrowed to EUR2.71 billion in
the January to July period from EUR10.37 billion in the same period
last year, the National Bank of Romania said Friday.
