South African Rand Recovers From 2-day Low Against Dollar

The South African rand reversed direction against the US dollar
after hitting a 2-day low of 7.94 at 2:15 am ET Thursday. As of
now, the dollar-rand pair is worth 7.8537 and this may be compared
to yesterday's close of 7.8650. The near term resistance for the
South African currency is seen around the 7.755 level.
The South African PPI report for July is due at 5:30 am ET
today.
