Dollar Spikes Up To 4-week High Versus South African Rand

After a slight weakness in early morning deals, the US dollar
ticked up against the South African rand in New York mid-day
trading on Thursday. At about 11:45 am ET, the greenback climbed to
7.5987 versus the rand, which may be compared to Wednesday's
closing value of 7.5324. This set a 4-week high for the US
currency. Presently, the dollar is worth 7.5613 against the South
African currency. The next upside target level for the US currency
is seen at 7.6247.
