Acxiom� Corporation (Nasdaq: ACXM) today announced it has been selected by Sweden-based high-strength steel manufacturer Svenskt Stal AB (SSAB) to provide information technology infrastructure and services for the company�s North American Division over the next three years. In June, SSAB�s sale of its North American tubular and Canadian steel operation, IPSCO, called for the separation of the division�s information technology environment from the rest of the divested company. SSAB required a partner that could accomplish this complex migration within an aggressive timeframe of four months. This separation of the information technology infrastructure was a mission-critical component of the multi-billion dollar transaction.
